Viticulture, daily management and machinery is provided by Vinemanagers Ltd. Matt Griffith manages the day to day operations and Nick Hoskins provides vitcultural input as required. Matt and Nick are passionate about producing quality Sauvignon Blanc fruit and strive hard to meet the individual winemakers requirements in any given year.

The site lends itself to quality fruit, as the clay sub-soils dry out each season vine growth slows and in a normal year only one trim is necessary. All the vines are two cane VSP (vertically Shoot Positioned) with the exception of a small area of more vigorous vines where three canes are required to maintain the natural vine balance.

Leaf plucking is carried out early to ensure suitable exposure and reduce botrytis risk. The property naturally yields 10- 12 tonnes per ha sometimes but in years such as 2014 where yields are high hand thinning is carried out to exacting standards. Come veraison the team under Matts guidance protect the fruit from birds with bird exclusion netting.
